I loved each and every story in this collection Every page is filled with heart, emotion, pain, happiness, and anything in between The characters are often faced with at best uncomfortable choices or at worst frightening choices They all have a disaster of their own to slough through Molly McCaffrey crafts characters who beautifully communicate why their disaster is so, well, disastrous, no matter how big or small it may sound to an outsider Overall, these stories as the book title suggests show how one can survive disasters Sometimes that means finding a solution, but sometimes it just means getting through it True to life book.

A great collection of short stories I enjoyed reading these on my lunch break as nice, relaxing reads that engaged me just enough to keep me interested without having to overthink critically Some of the stories made me laugh and others made me shake my head McCaffrey did an excellent job
